I’ve been reading Christine Caine’s new Christian nonfiction book titled Don’t Look Back: Getting Unstuck and Moving Forward with Passion and Purpose. I heard about the book when I listened to her speak at Gateway Church (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXoQMghEB_U). Her sermon begins at 39:42.

Caine spoke about Lot, and how her disobedience of looking back turned her into pillar of salt. She also writes about Lot’s story in her book. The full story is found in Genesis Ch. 19. For more information on Lot, click here. Caine discusses in her sermon how looking backwards as women has a negative impact on our daughters and future generations. It definitely changed my view on parenting Ella and how I often I look back. The book and sermon spoke to me personally and I recommend if you enjoy reading Christian nonfiction. She delves deeper in the book in regard to her personal life.
